Section 2 - Qualifications Aware Digital, Inc. is proud to have the opportunity to submit this proposal for the City's Automated License Plate Recognition System. Aware Digital is submitting this RFP without any collusion with any other person or entity related to this RFP. Aware Digital, Inc., is a dynamic Florida-based corporation with offices in Miramar, FL and serving customers in and around Florida, the United States, as well as internationally. Aware Digital has been doing business in the surveillance and wireless technology marketplace for over eight (8) years and has been growing significantly each year since inception. The company was founded in 2003 by Joshua Mann, with the sole purpose of bringing the highest level of personalized service, cutting-edge technology and commitment to excellence to an industry that has not been known for these qualities. Aware Digital is a fully licensed and insured vendor holding state licenses for Certified Alarm System Contractor I, Number EF20000784 and Slot Machine Business Number 7927542. In addition Aware Digital holds multiple state and federal contracts. Aware Digital also maintains over 10 full time employees who hold MOT certification with the State of Florida. Aware Digital, Inc. employs dedicated professionals in a full-time capacity to provide our customers with a complete range of system integration, engineering, software development, design, consulting and support services. The majority of our customers run operations on a 24/7 basis, from state regulated casinos to government datacenters, police departments and special law enforcement task forces, our customers rely on the fact that we can provide dedicated around the clock support, along with on-site technical and physical labor for all of our deployed solutions. Aware Digital prides itself on being a subject matter expert in the areas of designing License Plate Recognition, IP video surveillance, digital video management platforms, wireless backhaul systems, networks and related technologies. Aware Digital employees come from a wide range of backgrounds including, construction, IT, law enforcement and homeland security. Aware Digital maintains all products for solutions it provides in stock along with replacement equipment and fully staffed testing and engineering labs. With the ability to simulate and resolve issues on a 24/7 basis, Aware Digital sets itself apart from typical competitors who only resell products without fully stocking and supporting them. In 2012, Aware Digital, Inc. was awarded a competitively bid contract by the City of Tampa to provide the design, installation and maintenance for its entire high definition wireless surveillance system for use for the Republican National Convention. This project included over 130 cameras, portable trailers, and a comprehensive wireless network. The project totaled $2M in size and was fully bonded.
