Londono,Acting HR Manager <br /> DATE: 9/20/2012 <br /> RE: Renewal of Property, Casualty, Auto, Workers Comp Insurance with <br /> Brown & Brown/Preferred Government Insurance Trust(PGIT) <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached resolution to renew the City's Property,Casualty,Auto, <br /> and Workers Compensation insurance with the Preferred Government Insurance Trust (PGIT) for the period of October <br /> 1,2012 through September 30,2013 in an amount not to exceed$721,783. <br /> REASONS: <br /> The renewal premium for the Commercial Package Policy (Property, Liability, and Auto) is $547,365 which is $64,508 or <br /> 13.36% more than last year ($482,857). The renewal premium for Workers Compensation is $143,608 which is $7,179 or <br /> 5.26% more than last year ($136,429).
