D/B/A/ JORDA MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR having an address of 1510 N.W. 79th Avenue, Doral, FL 33126 (hereinafter "Principal") and having an address of (hereinafter"Surety"), having heretofore complied with all requirements of the laws of the State of Florida regulating the admission of such transacted business in this State, as Surety, are held and firmly bond unto the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Florida, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida, (hereinafter "City") having an address of 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 in the full and just sum of Dollars ($ ), lawful money funds of the United States of America, for which sum well and truly to be paid to said City the said Principal and the said Surety do hereby bind themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, successors or assigns respectively, as the case may be,jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. WHEREAS, the said Principal is required to furnish a Warranty Bond to guarantee the installation and completion of improvements as required by the construction standards of the City as established by ordinance, code, or agreement. WHEREAS, in compliance with said warranty bond requirements, the Principal will furnish.a good and sufficient bond in a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Florida conditioned upon the correction of all insufficiencies in design, workmanship and/or materials which are found within the initial one (1) year product warranty period and one (1) year annual factory recommended maintenance service period. The effective commencement date of the warranty period shall be date of City's final acceptance of the Work. This Warranty Bond shall be posted on the date of City's final acceptance of the Work. This Warranty Bond shall be released at the expiration of the initial one (1) year product warranty period and one (1) year annual factory recommended maintenance service period, after which time this obligation shall be void; otherwise these warranty obligations shall continue in full force and effect until remedied. Not more than thirty(30) days,prior to the end of the initial one(1)year product warranty period and the annual factory recommended maintenance service period, following City's final acceptance of the Work, the City Manager or his designee, upon request by the Principal, shall conduct an inspection for final release. If the investigation reveals any insufficiencies, then the Principal will be notified, in writing, via certified mail, that the Work is unacceptable, and will be instructed as to the unacceptable Work or material.
