SCOPE OF SERVICES - <br /> Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. will perform the following services based on <br /> our understanding of the project requirements: <br /> I. Professional Government Consulting Services <br /> A. Coordinate 90% drawings through a complete, detailed construction take <br /> off and cost estimate. This process was excludedifroin the original.work <br /> authorization by the then City Manager. In recent meetings we have <br /> discussed the potential cost saving that could be obtained via this process by <br /> providing the plans to a well-known, licensed Marine Contractor. The <br /> process will include constructability review, Value Engineering Review and <br /> RFI/potential Change Order identification. The process of flushing out any <br /> RFI or Change Orders prior to the plans being put out to bid can result in a <br /> significant cost savings to the Owner. <br /> B. Coordinate revisions to drawings and constructability issues such easements <br /> and access that are generated from the detailed review by the licensed <br /> Contractor. <br /> C. Complete final review of 100% drawings to ensure all revisions were <br /> completed and no unintended consequences resulted from the plan revisions. <br /> 2. BASIS OF COMPENSATION <br /> Hourly rates with an estimated fee of$9,195.00 plus reimbursables at $459.75 with <br /> a total not to exceed amount of$9,654.75. Payments to be made monthly. <br /> 3.
