<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Proposal No. 17-04-01 9 <br /> <br /> <br />Section 2 <br />Special Terms and Conditions <br /> <br />2.1 PURPOSE OF PROPOSAL: <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Be ach, Florida, (the “City”) a municipality located in Miami-Dade County, <br />Florida, is requesting licensed a company to furnish, install and maintain (two) 2 interactive <br />informational touch screen Kiosks including software implementation and license, configuration, <br />maintenance, training and professional services support at various locations on City property. The <br />City may increase or remove the number of kiosks during term of the contract as deemed <br />necessary. The contractor will be in full accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions <br />contained in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Please reference herein attached Scope of Work for <br />detailed specifications. <br /> <br />2.2 PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE <br /> <br />Intentionally Omitted <br /> <br />2.3 TERM <br /> <br />This contract will commence upon execution by both parties which shall be the effective date <br />succeeding approval of the contract by the City Commission, or designee, unless otherwise <br />stipulated in the Notice of Award letter. The contract shall be contingent upon the completion and <br />submittal of all required documents. This contract shall remain in effect until the completion of <br />services, provided that the services rendered by Firm during the contract period are satisfactory. <br /> <br />2.4 OPTIONS TO RENEW <br /> <br />The initial contract term shall be for an initial one (1) year. The City, at its sole option, may renew <br />the contract for three (3) one-year renewal terms. Exercising the option to renew is at the sole <br />discretion of the City. <br /> <br />2.5 PRICE <br /> <br />If the Proposer is awarded a contract under this solicitation, the prices proposed shall remain fixed <br />and firm during the initial term of contract. However, the Proposer may offer incentives and <br />discounts from this fixed price to the City at any time during the contractual term. <br /> <br />Prior to completion of each exercised contract term, the City may consider an adjustment <br />to price based on changes in the Consumer Price Index Urban Wage Earners and Clerical <br />Workers, Miami / Ft Lauderdale – All Items. It is the Awarded Proposer’s responsibility to request <br />any pricing adjustment under this provision. <br /> <br />No additional costs may be accepted, other than the costs stated on the attachment A, Cost <br />Proposal.
