<br />Addendum 10 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />CONSTRUCTION OF THE NORTH BAY ROAD PEDESTRIAN EMERGENCY BRIDGE <br />CITY RFP NO. 14-09-01 <br /> <br />To All Bidders: <br /> <br />Bidders for the above referenced project shall take note of the following changes, <br />additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in <br />accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have <br />precedence over anything shown or described otherwise. <br /> <br /> <br /> Attachments: <br /> <br />Table 1 – MAJOR ITEM SCHEDULE OF VALUES <br />US Coast Guard Permit #9-14-7 dated 20 February 2015 <br />Bridge Plan Sheets BW-2, BW-3, BW-4, and B-24 (Revised) <br />Roadway Plan Sheets 1, 4, 5, 11, 12, 14, 16-23, 26 (Revised) <br />Roadway Plan Sheet 18-A (New) <br /> <br /> Questions/Clarifications: <br /> <br />Q1: Will additional plan sheets be provided for MOT? If not, will MOT restrictions <br />be provided to clarify work time restrictions, minimum lanes required, pedestrian <br />requirements, etc. <br /> <br />A1: MOT plans for approval shall be submitted by the Contractor to the City for <br />review and approval. MOT shall be placed and maintained in accordance with <br />FDOT Standards and provide for the safe movements for both vehicles and <br />pedestrians at all times. Work time restrictions are listed in the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach Code of Ordinances Article III – Construction Noise §193-6. <br /> <br />Q2: It appears that the drainage plans on the north side are incomplete – plan view <br />page 12 does not show any drainage while the cross sections, sheet 19- show 19” <br />x 30” pipe and 5’x5’ exfiltration trench. Will roadway plans be revised to show <br />drainage? <br /> <br />A2: The City of Sunny Isles Beach has a separate drainage construction project <br />not associated with this Emergency Bridge project. The drainage project includes <br />a new outfall and related infrastructure within the North Bay Road right of way <br />between 174 Street and the canal.
