SECTION 01600 <br /> <br />EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS <br /> <br /> <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br /> <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br /> <br />A. Incorporate new and unused equipment, materials, instruments, or devices in <br />this project, unless indicated otherwise in the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />B. Deliver equipment and materials to be incorporated in the work sufficiently in <br />advance of their installation and use to prevent delay in the execution of the <br />work, and in order as required for reasonable executing the work. <br /> <br />C. Prevent deterioration and damage to equipment and materials. <br /> <br />1. Prevent warping, twisting, bending, breaking, chipping, rusting, damage, or <br />theft of the equipment and materials handled and stored by the <br />manufacturer, fabricator supplier, and CONTRACTOR before, during, and <br />after shipment. <br /> <br />2.
