<br />1.06 GUARANTEE <br /> <br />A. The CONTRACTOR shall guarantee all materials and equipment furnished and <br />installed and all work performed for a period of one (1) year from the date of <br />substantial completion. The guarantee shall stipulate that the completed <br />system is free from all defects due to faulty materials or workmanship and the <br />CONTRACTOR shall promptly make such corrections as may be necessary by <br />reason of such defects, including the repairs of any damage to other parts of <br />the system resulting from such defects. <br /> <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 PIPE MATERIALS <br /> <br />A. Reinforced Concrete Pipe: Concrete pipe shall be of first quality and <br />manufactured conforming to ASTM Designation C 76, latest revision, minimum <br />design requirements shall be for Class III Reinforced Concrete Pipe, wall <br />designation B, as modified by Section 941 Concrete Pipe, Section 942 Pipe <br />Gaskets, and Section 430-7 Requirements for Concrete Pipe, FDOT, Standard <br />Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. <br /> <br />B. Corrugated Aluminum Pipe: Corrugated Aluminum Pipe shall conform to the <br />requirements of AASHTO M 196 (circular corrugated pipe) or AASHTO M 211 <br />(helically corrugated pipe), and Section 945 FDOT, Standard Specifications. <br /> <br />C. Corrugated Steel Pipe: Corrugated Steel Pipe shall conform to the <br />requirements of AASHTO M36 and Section 943, FDOT Standard <br />Specifications and shall be bituminous coated. <br /> <br />D. Corrugated High Density Stormwater Polyethylene Pipe: shall conform to the <br />requirements of ASTM D3212 and AASHTO M294 and FDOT Section 948-2 <br />as manufactured by Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS). The corrugated <br />HDPE stormwater pipe shall have corrugated exterior and smooth interior <br />walls. <br /> <br />E. Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe: Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe shall conform to the <br />requirements of ASTM D-3034, SDR 35. <br /> <br />F. High Density Polyethylene Forcemain Pipe: shall conform to AWWA C906, <br />ductile iron pipe with fusion welded but joints.
