<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach | Invitation to Bid No. 17‐05‐01 58 <br /> <br /> <br />The Contractor shall collect shopping carts from public property and return them to the owner on a <br />daily basis. <br /> <br />The Contractor must sweep all driveways, parking areas and sidewalks where turf cuttings and <br />trimmings are evident as well as any dirt or stones resulting from the Work and remove the <br />trimmings, dirt, and stones from the premises. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall use a mechanized leaf vacuums to remove all debris from all walks, drives, <br />roads, and pedestrian areas, as often as requested by City, shall remove all excess soil, trimmings, <br />debris, and equipment from site after each visit. <br /> <br />Contractor must properly dispose of all litter and debris at off-site locations in accordance with <br />existing local, state, and federal regulations, at Contractor’s expense. City dumpsters or other <br />containers are not to be used for disposal of any litter, debris or turf trimmings. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall empty and dispose of contents of all trash containers in all rights-of-way, beach <br />access paths, government facilities, and parking lots once per day, seven days per week including all <br />weekends and holidays. In addition, the Contractor shall empty and dispose of contents of all trash <br />containers (including fish guts) at the Pier Park Fishing Pier twice per day on Saturday and Sunday, <br />including holidays, in the morning between 7:00 am and 10:00 am and in the evening by 6:00 pm, <br />including all weekends and holidays. <br /> <br />Litter and debris removal in all rights-of-way, including area within 5’ from back of sidewalk on all <br />interior streets, beach access paths, government facilities, and parking lots shall occur once per day, <br />7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. A minimum of two employees shall be assigned to <br />litter and debris pick up in these areas and the Work shall be completed by 10:00 am in the morning. <br /> <br />Litter and debris removal within the rights-of-way on Collins Avenue including and including area <br />within 5’ from back of sidewalk on the east side and 10’ from back of sidewalk on west sides of Collins <br />Avenue from 195th Street to 156th Street, to include the two landscaped parcels on the west side of <br />Collins Avenue, north and south sides of 189 Street, at the eastern end of the William Lehman <br />Causeway (including 20’ sodded alleyway between landscaped area and fence), and both sides of <br />Sunny Isles Blvd, including the Business Loop shall be twice per day, 7 days a week, including <br />weekends and holidays. A minimum of two employees shall be assigned to litter and debris pick up <br />in these areas and the Work shall be completed between 7:00 am and 10:00 am in the morning and <br />3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the evening. Particular attention must be made to remove litter accumulation <br />under shrubs in medians and swales along Collins Avenue and Sunny Isles Boulevard. <br /> <br />Contractor must notify the Project Manager(s) of any debris or any other situation(s) that create a <br />hazardous condition. All debris removed from the City of Sunny Isles Beach is to be disposed of at <br />an EPA and State of Florida approved dumping site, at Contractor’s expense. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION
