PRODUCTION PROCESS <br />The inner structure of the sculpture is constituted by metal rings that are welded together to create <br />spheres. A metal mesh will cover the spheres, and concrete will be attached to this structure. After <br />the concrete dries, the stones will be masoned row by row, from base till top. <br />For the reinforcement of the sculpture, a foundation and an inner metal construction will be used, <br />as well as a concrete and metal coating for the artwork structure. <br />A variety of gemstones will be installed on the surface of the snowman including semi-precious <br />Jade stones. The gemstones will be polished and treated with a special stone coating that will <br />create a water impermeable film. The surface will be coated and treated in such a way, that the <br />beach sand will not harm their appearance. The special glue that will be used between the stones <br />and the base structure will have the properties to resist cleaning and water pressure. <br />In addition, the artist will provide five artificial palm branches, perfectly designed for the sculpture. <br />The branches are of high quality stainless steel frame that allow strong winds to blow against. <br />Moreover and if desired, natural palm branches can be used and replaced every 3rd or 4th month. <br />The work can stay without the palm branch if desired, but it is important to note that the original <br />sculpture features one palm branch. <br />MAINTENANCE <br />There are no special requirements for maintaining the sculpture. For cleaning, water can be used to <br />wash out sand or other impureness, that may disturb the aspect of the sculpture. <br />2 <br />
