<br />|REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. 17-10-01 13 <br /> <br /> to bind the City. <br /> <br />2.13 PUBLIC RECORDS <br /> <br />IF THE SUCCESSFUL PROPOSER HAS QUESTIONS <br />REGARDING THE APPLICATION OF CHAPTER 119, FLORIDA <br />STATUTES, TO THE SUCCESSFUL PROPOSER’S DUTY TO <br />PROVIDE PUBLIC RECORDS RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, <br />CONTACT THE CUSTODIAN OF PUBLIC RECORDS AT CITY OF <br />18070 COLLINS AVENUE, SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FL 33160. <br />THE CITY CLERK’S OFFICE MAY BE CONTACTED BY PHONE <br />AT (305) 792-1703 OR VIA EMAIL AT MBetancur@sibfl.net. <br /> <br />2.14 BACKGROUND CHECKS <br /> <br />The successful Firm will be responsible for hiring the necessary personnel to conduct the <br />specified services and will comply with all federal, state, and local laws related to minimum wage, <br />social security, nondiscrimination, Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), unemployment <br />compensation, and workers’ compensation. All staff assigned to this contract shall be required, at <br />their sole cost and expense, to pass a criminal background check prior to award of the contract. <br />The criminal background check shall consist of a Florida Department of Law Enforcement <br />(“FDLE”) Florida Crime Information Center/National Crime Information Center (“FCIC/NCIC”) <br />criminal records check. Any employee not meeting this requirement will not be permitted to work <br />at any City facility. <br /> <br />2.15 SUBSTITUTION OF PERSONNEL <br /> <br />In the event the Contractor wishes to substitute personnel for the key personnel identified by the <br />Contractor’s Proposal, the Contractor must notify the City in writing and request written approval <br />for the substitution at least ten (10) business days prior to effecting such substitution. <br /> <br />2.16 LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />Proposer agrees to comply, subject to applicable professional standards, with the provisions of <br />any and all applicable Federal, State, County and City orders, statutes, ordinances, rules and <br />regulations which may pertain to the Services required under the Agreement, including but not <br />limited to: <br /> <br />A. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), in compliance with Executive Order 11246 as amended <br />and applicable to this Contract. <br /> <br />B. Miami-Dade County Florida, Department of Small Business Development Participation <br />Provisions, as applicable to this Contract. <br /> <br />C.
