See additional action in Item SD above.] <br /> City Clerk Hines read the title. <br /> Public Speakers: Jack Cohen <br /> Jack Cohen said his son passed away suddenly three weeks ago from Scleroderma Disease <br /> and in his memory he would like to donate the Turkish Red Marble Statue that he purchased <br /> 20 years ago at a cost of$32,000,to the City to be placed in Gateway Park. <br /> Commissioner Scholl moved and Commissioner Aelion seconded a motion to accept the <br /> donation. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 6B. Add-On: <br /> Discussion regarding a Request from Jewish Community Services of South Florida(JCS) <br /> for a Contribution in the Amount of$25,000. <br /> Action:[City Clerk's Note: See additional action in Item SE above.]City Clerk Hines read <br /> the title,and Mayor Edelcup said for a number of years the City has partially sponsored the <br /> activities of the Jewish Community Services of South Florida here in the City of Sunny Isles <br /> Beach.
