Pro Grass
1 First in Turf
I
RFP No. 12-10-03
1 City of Sunny Isles Beach
18070 Collins Avenue
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160
RE: Section #4- Approach/Methodology
1
1 Pro Grass has attached a standard specification detailing the means and method for the
installation of the synthetic turf. These are general conditions and subject to the availability of
local materials and the owner's request. Also, our company has attached a multi-field project
list, these projects encompassed the same features as proposed in this RFP. Please review the
attached schedule as a preliminary guideline to Pro Grass's approach to the successful
completion of Artificial Turf for Senator Gwen Margolis and Pelican Community Parks. Our
1 initial work plan would consist of:
1) Negotiate (if required) with the City of Sunny Isles Beach Contract Sum as it pertains to the
city's budget and expectations.
1 2) Also at this time Pro Grass would send a "Letter of Intent" to all suppliers and
subcontractor(s) securing their services and products for this project.
3) Provide all administrative requirements i.e. bonds, insurance certificates, etc.
1 4) Initiate a "kick-off" meeting with City personnel and the Pro Grass Team. This would be
done in conjunction with providing plans, permits, and all required submittals.
5) Once plans/submittals have been improved and permits acquired Pro Grass would mobilize
1 and start the actual construction of the project. This process is expressed in the attached
specifications.
6) Upon receiving substantial completion, Pro Grass would provide training, owner's equipment
(if applicable), warranty, and any other contractual responsibilities.
1 In conclusion, Pro Grass has never had liquidated damages applied to any contracts. The Pro
Grass team and company's commitment to the satisfaction of our customers and project
obligations can be attested by any of our past customers.
1
i
1
ProGrass, LLC•
1 960 Penn Avenue, 8th Floor • Pittsburgh, "' " n.
