S St.Johns County Board of County Commissioners <br /> Construction Services I Construction Contacting&Management Division <br /> w „ <br /> December 5,2012 ORIGIN®L <br /> RE: Sports Turf One K P <br /> Letter of Recommendation <br /> To Whom It May Concern: <br /> In 2009, St Johns County Construction Services entered a design/build contract with Sports Turf <br /> One for the installation of artificial turf on three existing ball fields. I was the Project Manager <br /> for the County, and Bill Gillen was my main contact with Sports Turf One, Two of the fields in <br /> this contract were located in County parks, and one was on the property of a County school. <br /> They were as much as thirty to forty-five minute drives from each other. Sports Turf One did a <br /> commendable job of scheduling and coordination to complete the project within budget and an <br /> acceptable time frame. <br /> Mr. Gillen provided me with excellent communication throughout the project The only change <br /> orders we executed were a result of our Recreation department requiring changes to two of the <br /> field sizes. Sports Turf One provided us with timely and fair price proposals for these changes. <br /> Mr. Gillen and my other contacts with Sports Turf One were always responsive, courteous, and <br /> most professional. The County was left with three very high quality end products. I would <br /> welcome the opportunity to work with Sports Turf One again,and it is my pleasure to submit this <br /> letter.
