QUALIFICATIONS !.
UALIFICATIONS ! 4 1
are selecting a firm that will not only complete their project, but exceed their expectations.
® • Repeated and extensive experience in the design, construction and delivery of municipal athletic
fields gives RDC the expertise to supervise and perform the work required to complete these parks
on time and on schedule, while being a conscientious neighbor.
• Our history and experience with artificial turf fields, provides RDC and the City with added expertise.
Through relationships with some of the Nation's top field manufacturers, as well as local contractors,
RDC can provide the city with an abundance of design and construction options for the proposed
facilities.
• RDC has a very successful working relationship with many of the area's top designers and engineers.
We look forward to repeating that success in this project.
SCHEDULE OF PROPOSED SERVICES
non
tra
ID
Recreational Design and Construction proposes to design, purchase and install the athletic fields described
in the Request for Proposal. Our experience has shown that artificial turf fields are much more intricate than
many observers would suspect. The success of a field begins in the early stages of design, and is ensured
by the thoroughness of the execution of the assembly.
In the pre-construction phase RDC and its design team will, in conjunction with the City and end-user
department, design a field which will meet the City's needs for years to come. The design will include
material specifications, color selections, drainage and assembly details.
The project will then proceed to permitting, where RDC will deliver all documents required to obtain the
relevant permits, prior to commencement of construction.
Once permits have been received, product submittals approved and delivery dates established, the
construction team will take the lead role and proceed with the clearing and grubbing activities, thereby
minimizing impact to the community. Our crews and contractors will then proceed with infrastructure and
underground work, prior to preparing the base. Finally, once the base has been properly leveled and
compacted, the field assembly will be installed, including drainage systems, liners, turf and infill.
During the post-construction phase, RDC will coordinate all training and commissioning activities, and will
deliver all warranty and care documentation. We will be available to the City of Sunny Isles Beach
® and the user department throughout the turn-over and preliminary operations activities to resolve any
concerns, and, together with the turf manufacturer, ensure the proper training and maintenance protocols
are observed and implemented.
Recreational Design & Construction, Inc.
