<br /> OWNER/REFERENCE CONTACT: Song+Associates designed the new 26,000 GSF Community Center to integrate into the Village
<br /> Village of Wellington of Wellington's Municipal Campus. The project was accomplished through a Design-Build
<br /> 12300 Forest Hill Blvd process in partnership with Pirtle Construction.The Community Center involved the demolition
<br /> Wellington,FL 33414 of an existing older structure and construction of a new turnkey facility.The campus includes
<br /> Jim Barnes,Director of Operations an existing amphitheater,aquatics center,playgrounds,and the Village Hall which all remained
<br /> 561-791-4085 in operation throughout the construction phases. The design incorporated new traffic patterns
<br /> I
<br /> for vehicles and pedestrians throughout the campus to improve safety especially for children
<br /> SERVICES PROVIDED: crossing between the playgrounds and aquatic center. Where once there had been dilapidated
<br /> Master Planning tennis courts,a new civic green space opens views to Lake Wellington.

<br /> Architectural Design The facility's amenities include a 4,200 GSF Event Hall with table seating for 325, a dividable
<br /> Engineering(sub consultants)
<br /> Interior Design 2,500 GSF multi-purpose room, (3) various sized meeting rooms, (2) catering kitchens, (2)
<br /> Construction Administration classrooms, multi-purpose fitness room, a café-style Wi-Fi Lounge, and central atrium space.
<br /> The facility was designed to take full advantage of its lakefront site featuring an outdoor balcony
<br /> CONSTRUCTION COST: and an open plaza. An accessory building for boat storage was also included for the rowing
<br /> $8,000,000 club. The site includes new parking and landscaping, providing meandering pedestrian paths
<br /> with benches and picnic nodes linking to existing campus amenities including an amphitheater,
<br /> CONSTRUCTION COMPLETION: aquatic center, playground,and Civic Hall.
