A covered employee that refuses a drug test will be removed <br /> from duty immediately. (See Employer Action on Positive Test Result and Refusal to Test.) <br /> If a drug test is canceled on a pre-employment, return to duty, or follow-up test, the employee or <br /> applicant must re-take the drug test and produce a negative drug test result. <br /> An immediate observed collection will occur when an employee produces a sample out of the <br /> temperature range, shows evidence of tampering/adulterant, and will be required on all return to <br /> duty and follow up tests. <br /> See Prohibited Drug and Alcohol Testing Procedures section for new collection procedures. <br /> The City shall require an immediate retest upon being notified by the MRO that an employee's <br /> test result is negative dilute. This policy applies to all required tests. (See required tests.) <br /> Required Tests <br /> Pre-Employment Testing <br /> Requires: <br /> • DOT drug and alcohol tests. <br /> > Request For Drug and Alcohol Information From Previous Employer Form. <br /> All applicants must produce a negative drug test and alcohol test result prior to being hired.
