RESOLUTION NO. 2018- 2:193 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A REQUEST TO EXTEND THE TIME PERIOD TO PULL A BUILDING PERMIT FOR THE ZONING APPLICATION APPROVED UNDER ZONING RESOLUTION NO. 16-Z-157 FOR 17550 COLLINS AVENUE, LLC.; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY ATTORNEY WITH THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, by Zoning Resolution No. 16-Z-157, adopted on March 17th, 2016, the City Commission approved a site plan filed by 17550 Collins Avenue, LLC ("Applicant") for the construction of the Aurora project (the "Project") to be located at 17550 Collins Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Applicant is required to pull a building permit within two years from the date of approval of the Project; and WHEREAS, the zoning approval under Resolution No. 16-Z-157 shall expire on March 17th, 2018 and the Applicant is requesting a two (2) year extension from the aforementioned date to proceed with a proposed new development project; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to grant a one (1) year extension for the Applicant to pull a building permit up to March 17th, 2019. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of the Extension of Time. The City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach hereby approves the request to extend the time period up to March 17th, 2019, for 17550 Collins Avenue, LLC to pull a building permit for the Project. Section 2. Authorization of City Manager and City Attorney. The City Manager and City Attorney are hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. Section 3.
