Edelcup
18070 Collins Avenue
Sunny Isles Beach,Florida 33160
Re: Trump Scholarship donation for the SIB K-8 Community School Trust Fund
Dear Mayor Edelcup:
On behalf of The Trump Group, Eddie, Stephanie and Jules, and Acqualina, I am writing to express our
desire to pledge a scholarship in the total amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000)(the "Scholarship"),
to the Sunny Isles Beach K-8 Community School Trust Fund (the "Trust"), in recognition of the City of
Sunny Isles Beach's commitment to providing educational opportunities to the young residents of the
City. Your leadership in the area of education is admirable and deserving of recognition. As proud
members of the community over the years, we are excited to continue to invest in its future by supporting
the education of our youth. To that end, we are eager to work with the Trust going forward to help ensure
our Scholarship makes the greatest impact possible.
The Scholarship shall be funded in five(5) equal annual installments. We certainly welcome the Trust's
guidance and suggestions as to how to best apply the Scholarship funds in terms of applications,
recipients and overall implementation. Please feel free to have the appropriate persons contact us to
discuss those recommendations.
Again, as members of the community, we are so thankful for the excellent work that you and your
colleagues have performed for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. We are equally excited to support and
encourage students in our community in their pursuit of similar excellence through higher education. It is
our hope and intent that the Scholarship helps to make a difference in achieving those goals.
Sincerely,
0,
J d rump
c: The Honorable City Commission
Christopher J.
