<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Proposals No. 18-03-01 10 <br /> <br /> <br />Section 2 <br />Special Terms and Conditions <br /> <br />2.1 PURPOSE OF BID: <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach (the “City”) intends to secure the services from qualified <br />and experienced firms who will provide onsite parking attendant(s) hereinafter referred <br />to as (the “Contractor”) who will control traffic at the Pier Park parking lot, located at <br />16501 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. It is the intent of this proposal that <br />all work for this service shall result in compliance with the terms, conditions, and <br />specifications and all regulatory requirements applicable to such service contained herein. <br />To be eligible to respond to this Solicitation, the contractor must demonstrate that the <br />firm has sufficient capabilities, resources, experience and is properly and legally licensed <br />to perform such work under this solicitation. <br /> <br />2.2 PRE-BID CONFERENCE (NON-MANDATORY): <br /> <br />A non-mandatory meeting will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11:30 AM, First <br />Floor Conference Room at the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Government Center located at <br />18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160. No claim of ignorance by the <br />Bidder of conditions that exist, or that may hereinafter exist as a result of failure to make <br />the necessary examinations or investigations or failure to fulfill in every detail the <br />requirements of the contract documents, will be accepted as basis for varying the <br />requirements of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Oral statements may not be relied upon <br />and will not be binding or legally effective. As such an addendum will be issued if any <br />alterations are made to the specifications contained herein. <br /> <br />2.3 TERM <br /> <br />This contract will commence upon execution by both parties which shall be the effective <br />date succeeding approval of the contract by the City Manager, or designee, unless <br />otherwise stipulated in the Notice of Award letter. The contract shall be contingent upon <br />the completion and submittal of all required documents. This contract shall remain in <br />effect until the completion of services, provided that the services rendered by Firm during <br />the contract period are satisfactory and that City funding is available as appropriated on <br />an annual basis. However, in the event funding is not appropriated on an annual basis <br />during any particular year within the contract period, the contract may be canceled upon <br />thirty (30) days written notice to Firm. In such an event, the City shall only be responsible <br />for the reasonable value of services performed prior to the effective date of termination. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
