Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting February 15,2018 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida <br /> Emergency/Pedestrian Bridge more wheel chair friendly. She stated that due to the breaks in <br /> the pavement on both ends of the bridge it is very difficult for her to remain in her wheelchair <br /> as she's coming down. City Manager Christopher J. Russo agreed to meet with her the <br /> following morning at the bridge. <br /> Joyce Watkins spoke about pets on the beach, specifically dogs. She mentioned that more <br /> and more people are bringing their dogs to the beach and letting them roam around on their <br /> own without a leash. She asked if there was anything that the City could do about it. Deputy <br /> City Manager Stan Morris stated that there is a distinction between an "emotional support <br /> animal" and a service dog. Pets are not allowed on the beach but more research has to be <br /> done as to the allowance of service dogs. <br /> 14.
