Such changes shall be <br /> effected by written order issued to the Contractor endorsed by the Project Director. <br /> (20) The Architect, assisted by the Contractor, shall conduct inspections to determine <br /> the dates of substantial completion and final completion and shall issue appropriate <br /> Certificates. <br /> (21) The Architect shall assist the Contractor in receiving and forwarding to the Owner <br /> written warranties and related documents assembled by the Contractor. <br /> (22) The extent of the duties,responsibilities and limitations of authority of the Architect <br /> as a representative of the. Owner during construction shall not be modified or <br /> extended without the written consent of the Architect and the Owner. <br /> ARTICLE 4 <br /> ADDITIONAL SERVICES OF THE ARCHITECT-ENGINEER <br /> 4.1 For additional services requested by Owner, not within the current understanding of the <br /> Basic Services identified in this Agreement and the proposal submitted by Architect in <br /> connection with its response to Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") No. 17-12-01 and <br /> Attachments "A" and "B", the Architect shall be compensated on an hourly basis, subject <br /> to the advance written approval by the City Manager and the City Commission. Such <br /> services shall be documented in writing by Architect prior to their commencement. Such <br /> additional services, while not limited to the following, shall include: <br /> 4.2 Additional services due to significant changes in schedule or the general scope of the <br /> Projects or its requirements including, but not limited to, changes in size, complexity, <br /> procurement or delivery method, or character of construction. <br /> 4.3 Revising previously approved drawings or specifications after construction documents are <br /> finalized to accomplish changes. <br /> 4.4 Providing Detailed Cost Estimates. <br /> 4.5 When required by the Owner, preparing documents for Change Orders. <br /> 6009-062 PERKINS&WILL ARCHITECTS INC. 11 <br /> SIB i <br /> t <br />
