BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />This project consisted of a Boundary and Topographic survey of David T. <br />Kennedy Par k, for the City of Miami’s Capital Improvements Department. <br />The City requested existing conditions of the park and elevations on a 10 feet <br />grid, in certain areas, for the purpose of water discharge of existing restrooms <br />on site. In coordination with our certified arborist sub consultant, more than <br />700 trees were located, identified, and measured. <br /> <br />Boundary Survey tasks included were: <br />• Perform a closed horizontal traverse around the perimeter of the Subject <br />Property. <br />• Locate sufficient property corners and centerline control so that a determi- <br />nation <br /> can be made as to the location, on the ground, of the boundaries of the <br />Subject Property. <br />• Find or set all property corners along the boundary of the Subject Property. <br /> <br />Topographic Survey (Horizontal) tasks included were: <br />• Locate all visible above ground improvements (structures, asphalt, sidewalks, visible above ground utilities, tree locations,etc. within <br />the Subject Property. <br />• Locate the visible, above ground appurtenances to underground utilities (manholes, catch basins, hydrants, utility poles,etc.) within the <br />limits of subject property. <br />• Isolated trees will be located and areas of large clusters of trees, only the outside perimeter of the clusters will be located. <br /> <br />Topographic Survey (vertical) Tasks included were: <br />• Perform closed bench level circuit between two (2) published benchmarks and Subject Property. <br />• Obtain Spot Elevations. <br />• Obtain site elevations on a 100’ (+/-) grid within the subject property. <br />• For the purpose of water discharge of existing restrooms on site, elevations will be measured in 10’ intervals along the line provided by <br />the client, and along two lines; 50’ apart from the line provided by the client. Four (4) elevatio ns will be measured in the water, 15’ off <br />shore. <br />• Rim and invert elevation data for drainage or sewer structures will be provided as part of this proposal only within the boundaries of the <br />Subject Property. The total cost for this project was $36,619.60. <br />25.
