ATTACH ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED.

Company Profile
Pinnacle Ecological, Inc. (Pinnacle) is an environmental science consulting company supporting coastal and offshore
marine development activities. Pinnacle’s scientists have studied kelp, seagrass and/or coral reef ecosystems in the
Atlantic, Pacific, Indian and Arctic Oceans, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Arabian Gulf, Okhotsk Sea, Black Sea, and
Mediterranean Sea. Pinnacle’s services include environmental impact assessments, coral reef restoration, marine
habitat characterization surveys and GIS mapping, quality control data management, environmental permitting and
permit compliance, and coastal hydrodynamics. Pinnacle focusses on environmental due diligence, feasibility and risk
assessment studies to identify potential short and long term risks associated with port dredging, seawall and bridge
construction, beach nourishment, and related coastal development. Pinnacle also investigates the potential
environmental and economic impacts to important resources including corals, natural and artificial reefs, seagrass, and
mangrove habitats. Additionally, Pinnacle provides reasonable, cost effective solutions for avoidance and/or
minimizing irreversible environmental impacts that may affect water quality, fishing, tourism and resource health.
Pinnacle’s global environmental emergency response service provides rapid deployment of professional scientific
teams to assess environmental conditions and initiate mitigation measures to limit ecological impacts. Pinnacle is
recognized globally as experts in the field of marine environmental science, implementing sound scientific
methodology, providing exemplary service, and producing peer reviewed publications. Pinnacle’s scientific approach to
project development help’s to streamline the environmental permit process from concept through completion while
avoiding potential impacts and further maintaining our client’s budget and schedule. The marine scientists at Pinnacle
undergo routine scientific safety training to maximize efficiency and dive team safety during field operations in remote
regions of the world. Pinnacle is recognized by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the
Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS) as leaders in seagrass and coral reef studies including damage
assessment and habitat restoration. In 2008, NOAA honored Pinnacle’s staff with the prestigious Presidential
Partnership Award recognizing their dedicated contributions to the Coral Rescue, Relocation, Nursery and Beneficial
Use Program in the FKNMS. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has approved Pinnacle
as a Marine Turtle Monitoring permit holder for conducting beach nest monitoring.
Field Services
● Environmental Impact Assessments
● Benthic Resource Surveys
● Habitat Characterization and GIS Mapping
● Ichthyoplankton Sampling and Analysis
● Scientific Dive Training and Safety Management
● Coral, Seagrass, and Mangrove Studies
● Protected Species Surveys
● Habitat Restoration – Coral Reef and Seagrass
● Coastal Hydrodynamic Studies
● Water Quality and Sediment Chemistry Monitoring
● Rapid Environmental Emergency Response Team
Environmental Management
● Environmental Impact Assessment Reports
● Coral Recovery and Relocation Plans
● Monitoring and Mitigation Plans
● NEPA Environmental Review Management
● NPDES Permitting
● Section 7 Consultation and Biological Opinion (ESA)
● Joint Environmental Resource Permits
● QA/QC - Field Sampling and Data Management
● Environmental Quality and Construction Oversight
● Environmental Policy Management and Compliance
● Emergency Management and Risk Assessment

119
