BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />The project consisted of the renourishment of 5.1 miles of critically eroded shoreline immediately south of Hillsboro Inlet, between Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection Range Monuments R-26 to R-53.X. The project duration was 152 days. <br /> <br />GFA Contract <br />• $62,793.99 <br /> <br />GFA Services <br />GFA performed a pre-construction structural survey and a post-construction structural survey, inspecting <br />existing structures within 200 feet from the beach fill limit. A structural inspector performed visual <br />inspections and video documentations of building exteriors, exterior stucco, glazing, <br />walkways/breezeways, and general structural conditions. GFA developed a vibration control plan, <br />monitored ground vibrations with a remote seismograph system, provided a qualified vibration control <br />specialist who submitted biweekly reports of all results to the QC Manager for transmittal to the ACOE. <br />GFA provided sound survey services of equipment used on the project.
