<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Proposals Disaster Debris Monitoring No. 18-04-03 35 <br /> <br /> The short-listed Consultants may be requested to make presentations to the Committee. <br /> The City may require additional information after evaluation of the submittals, and <br /> Consultants agree to furnish such information upon the City’s request. <br /> <br /> All Consultants are advised that in the event of receipt of an adequate number of proposals, <br /> which in the opinion of the Evaluation Committee require no clarification and/or <br /> supplementary information, such proposals may be evaluated without discussion or need <br /> for presentations. Hence, proposals should be initially submitted on the most <br /> complete and favorable terms which Consultant are capable of offering to the City. <br /> <br /> The Evaluation Committee may conduct discussions with any Consultant who submits an <br /> acceptable or potentially acceptable proposal. Consultants shall be accorded fair and equal <br /> treatment with respect to any opportunity for discussion and revision of proposals. The <br /> Evaluation Committee reserves the right to request the Consultant to provide additional <br /> information during this process. <br /> <br />4.5 RIGHT TO REJECT PROPOSALS <br /> <br />To the extent permitted by applicable state and federal laws and regulations, City reserves <br />the right to reject any and all Proposals, to waive any and all informalities not involving <br />price, time or changes in the work, and to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, <br />unbalanced or conditional Proposals. Proposals will be considered irregular and may be <br />rejected if they show serious omissions, alterations in form, additions not called for, <br />conditions, unauthorized alterations, or irregularities of any kind. <br /> <br />City reserves the right to reject any Proposal if City believes that it would not be in its best <br />interest to make an award to a particular Consultant, either because the Proposal is not <br />responsive, the Consultant is unqualified, of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any <br />other pertinent criteria established by City within the scope of this solicitation. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br />
