City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> Parks and Recreational Facilities Landscape Maintenance Services <br /> ® SUPPLEMENT <br /> Proposed Maintenance Plan: <br /> If selected for this project, we will develop a Maintenance and Service Plan(M&S Plan)within <br /> the time set forth in the RFP. The M&S Plan will set forth our overall strategy for providing all <br /> services and will continue specific procedures related to the provision of services and the quality <br /> control mechanisms as well. Therefore, everything that follows is subject to the M&S Plan <br /> approved by the City. <br /> As an overview, however, our intention will be to provide the services by and through the <br /> following crew structure: <br /> Routine Landscape Maintenance Services <br /> As set forth in the RFP, we will provide a full-time dedicated maintenance crew <br /> consisting of 6.8 Full Time Equivalents (FTE's) as follows; <br /> Monday through Friday—6 full time employees <br /> Saturday and Sunday—2 full time employees <br /> This dedicated maintenance crew will perform all routine maintenance activities; <br /> including daily policing of all park facilities and beach paths, mowing, edging, weed- <br /> eating, trimming of shrubs, and ongoing installation of mulch. <br /> All work will be directed and supervised by a full-time Field Supervisor, of course, as set <br /> forth in the RFP. <br /> Fertilization and Pest Control <br /> We will provide a separate crew to perform all fertilization and pest control activities. <br /> This crew will be headed by an experience Pest Control Technician, who will conduct all <br /> monthly inspections and perform all necessary treatments. In addition, all fertilization <br /> will be completed by this crew; members of which possess Best Management Practices <br /> certification and Urban Commercial Fertilization certification. <br /> Irrigation System Maintenance <br /> We will provide a separate crew to provide all irrigation services; including ongoing wet- <br /> test inspections of the irrigation system and completion of all adjustments/repairs needed. <br /> Mainguy Landscape Services <br /> ITB 18-03-02 <br /> Parks and Recreational Facilities Landscape Maintenance Services <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
