Million Seventy-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Eighteen Dollars and Eighty-Five Cents <br /> ($1,077,718.85), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". Furthermore, the City Commission authorizes <br /> the City Manager to negotiate and enter into an Interlocal Agreement with Miami-Dade County <br /> for the installation and maintenance of the adaptive signalization equipment, provided said <br /> Interlocal Agreement is first approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the City Attorney. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Waiver of Bidding Requirements. The City Commission hereby waives the <br /> bidding requirements set forth in Chapter 62 of the City Code. <br /> Section 2. Approval of Agreement. The City Commission hereby approves an Agreement <br /> with Econolite Control Products, Inc. for purchase and installation of adaptive signalization <br /> equipment, in an amount not to exceed One Million Seventy-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred <br /> Eighteen Dollars and Eighty-Five Cents ($1,077,718.85), attached hereto as Exhibit "A" <br /> Section 3. Authorization of Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said <br /> agreement. <br /> Section 4. Authorization to Negotiate and Enter into an Interlocal Agreement. The City <br /> Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to negotiate and enter into an Interlocal <br /> Agreement with Miami-Dade County for the installation and maintenance of the adaptive <br /> signalization equipment, provided said Interlocal Agreement is first approved as to form and <br /> legal sufficiency by the City Attorney. <br /> Section 5. Authorization of City Manager and City Attorney. The City Manager and the <br /> City Attorney are hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br /> Section 6.
