Summary Minutes-Regular City Commission Meeting September I4,2000 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida <br /> Commissioner Kauffman moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion to <br /> approve the resolution. Resolution No. 2000-275 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 <br /> in favor. <br /> 10. MOTIONS <br /> None <br /> 11. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> 11A. Verbal Report of Vice Mayor Connie Morrow, Chairperson of the Fashion, Film, <br /> Entertainment and Production Council. <br /> Action: The item was deferred until October 19, 2000. <br /> 11B. Request of the Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser's Office to Use the City <br /> Commission Chambers to Receive/Process Homestead Exemption Applications. <br /> Action: City Clerk Brown-Morilla read the title and summarized the request from <br /> County staff. After discussion, the Commission consensus was that approval of the <br /> request might cause problems due to the parking shortage in the shopping center where <br /> City Hall is located. The City Clerk was asked to inform County staff that we could not <br /> approve their request. <br /> 11C. Add-On Item <br /> Request to Schedule a Workshop on October 17, 2000 at 6:00 p.m. on the proposed new <br /> Rules of Procedure Ordinance. <br /> Action: The Workshop was scheduled in the Commission Chambers. <br /> 12. CITIZENS' FORUM: REQUESTS,PETITIONS & OTHER COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Action: None. <br /> 13.
