Grandinetti, Police Captain <br /> DATE: 2/21/2013 <br /> RE: Approval to ratify the first amendment to the agreement with Iron <br /> Sky, Inc. to install and maintain an Automatic License Plate <br /> Recognition System (ALPR). <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution to <br /> ratify the First Amendment to the Agreement with Iron Sky, Inc. dated January <br /> 25, 2013, to install and maintain a citywide Automatic License Plate Recognition <br /> System (ALPR). <br /> REASONS: <br /> The original RFP # 12-09-01 required that the awarded contractor provide a <br /> Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of the project. We have <br /> agreed to waive the Performance and Payment Bond and amend the agreement <br /> to state that the City shall pay the Contractor 90% of the total compensation <br /> upon completion and acceptance of services.
