The management team has a vast scope of technical knowledge and brings nearly 200 combined years of experience in telecommunications, building controls, electrical contracting, fire alarm, and security from leading companies such as BellSouth, AT&T, Siemens, SimplexGrinnell, Mans, and Honeywell. We are a family owned and operated business. John Hood and family started the company in 1990. Currently, we have offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Jupiter, Florida. We originally started in the structured cable business working mostly for the School Board of Broward County. We have completed over $70 million in data/voice/fiber/WAN/LAN type work over the past 10 years. We have completed over 250 schools in the Broward School District, each of which communicates over a LAN provided by us. With an average revenue of$11M/year for the last five (5) years, we are a relatively large local company. We have expanded our services to cover most low-voltage systems, services, and installation. We provide 24 hour, 365 day emergency service, as well as a 24/7/365 UL ® listed monitoring and dispatch center (1-800 number). We design, distribute, install, and maintain structured cabling systems, network systems, telephone systems, wireless systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, intercom systems, nurse call systems, CCTV systems, and card access systems. We also can provide any low voltage service and limited high voltage services as we are a fully licensed unlimited Electrical Contractor in the State of Florida. We recently (February of 2003) changed our name from Quality Communications of Florida, Inc. to Quality Communications Fire and Security, Inc. to more accurately reflect our broader business focus. Our company structure allows us to provide turn-key solutions to clients. We have in- house engineering and design services including a full AutoCad Department. Our installation forces are certified and trained in low and high voltage systems and cabling, as well as structured cable/fiber optic solutions. The combination of these in-house engineering and installation forces coupled with our Value Added Reseller (VAR) partnerships for many low voltage systems and equipment, allows us to provide cost- effective turn-key solutions to our customers. We are a local Broward County company and have local training facilities to provide efficient customer training. These state-of-the-art facilities are located at our corporate headquarters along with all of the necessary hardware and software for effective training.
