It was developed as the entire communications backbone for the <br /> city, and will be used for the Emergency Preparedness System. The network has built-in <br /> redundancy and will be carry CCTV video from cameras placed around the city for <br /> disaster relief. Future uses include Card Access, Energy Management Systems, and Fire <br /> Alarm.
