City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> RFP 18-04-02 Disaster Debris Management and Disposal Services <br /> 0 Mr. Preus has been employed for 19 years with Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. directing the <br /> Emergency Management Services Division and providing project management on over 60 FEMA <br /> reimbursed disaster recovery contracts including hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms, wind storms, and <br /> floods. Mr. Preus leads and provides overall guidance to the company's Emergency Response Team in the <br /> areas of preparatory, mobilization, and implementation of operations. Mr. Preus has participated in 16 <br /> USACE emergency recovery contracts with Ceres as prime contractor. <br /> PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br /> • Hurricanes Hermine and Matthew 2016. Provided management oversight for over 20 individual <br /> projects following Hurricane Hermine in September and Hurricane Matthew in October. Also <br /> worked in the field as project manager after Hurricane Matthew. <br /> ▪ Louisiana Flooding 2016. Provided management oversight for Ceres response to Louisiana <br /> floods in August following heavy rains. <br /> • Oklahoma Ice Storms 2015. Provided management oversight to Ceres response to Winter Storms <br /> Cara and Goliath. Ceres responded to six different jurisdictions in Oklahoma. <br /> • Livingston Parish Waterway Cleanup 2015. Management oversight for Ceres response during <br /> the removal of vegetative, C&D and white goods debris removal in Louisiana. <br /> • Alabama Tornadoes 2014. Management oversight for Ceres response in several Alabama cities <br /> damaged by May tornadoes. Ceres provided removal and disposal services for eligible debris. <br /> o Winter Storm Pax 2014. Management oversight for Ceres response in Georgia and North <br /> Carolina. Ceres provided removal and disposal of storm-related debris in both states. <br /> • Upper Midwest Ice Storm 2013. Led Ceres' debris management prime contracts in South Dakota <br /> and Minnesota, including work in rights of way, parks and waterways. <br /> o Hurricane Sandy 2012-2013. Management oversight for Ceres' response in New York and New <br /> Jersey. Ceres performed multiple projects in New York and New Jersey as prime contractor. <br /> 0 • Hurricane Isaac 2012. Management oversight of five separate contracts in response to Hurricane <br /> Isaac. Ceres provided recovery services to Jefferson Parish, Kenner, Livingston Parish, Denham <br /> Springs and St. Bernard Parish. <br /> • Winter Storm Alfred 2011. Provided management oversight for response to unseasonal snow- <br /> storm in the Northeast. Ceres managed over 320,000 CY of debris in two locations. <br /> • Hurricane Irene 2011. Provided management oversight for response to Hurricane Irene's impact <br /> on the Atlantic coast. Ceres managed 120,000 CY of debris in two locations. <br /> • Alabama Tornadoes 2011. Provided management for Ceres' response to record-setting <br /> tornadoes as Ceres hauled 1,191,553 CY of debris, reducing the vegetative portion by grinding. <br /> • Haiti Earthquake 2010-2013. Project Manager working with the International Organization for <br /> Migration on camp population and needs. Managed transitional housing prototypes.
