RESOLUTION NO. 2018- 2753( <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AWARDING <br /> INVITATION TO BID ("ITB") NO. 18-04-01 TO ALL WEBBS <br /> ENTERPRISES, INC. TO PERFORM NORTH BAY ROAD <br /> DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO AN <br /> AGREEMENT WITH BIDDER IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br /> EXCEED SIX HUNDRED NINETY-FOUR THOUSAND NINE <br /> HUNDRED DOLLARS (S694,900.00), PROVIDED SAID <br /> AGREEMENT IS FIRST APPROVED AS TO FORM AND <br /> LEGAL SUFFICIENCY BY THE CITY ATTORNEY; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY <br /> ATTORNEY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO <br /> EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach (the "City") issued an Invitation to Bid <br /> ("ITB") No. 18-04-01 for the North Bay Drainage Improvement project to include maintenance, <br /> rehabilitation, and testing of existing storm water gravity disposal wells located on Central Island <br /> Neighborhood in the City of Sunny Isles Beach; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has analyzed the bid response from All Webbs Enterprises, Inc., <br /> based on the general evaluation criteria set forth in Section 62-8 of the City Code, and recommends <br /> that the City accept the bid submitted by All Webbs Enterprises, Inc.; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to award ITB No. 18-04-01 to and authorizing the City <br /> Manager to negotiate and enter into an agreement with All Webb Enterprises, Inc. to provide <br /> maintenance, rehabilitation and testing services for the North Bay Road Improvements, provided <br /> said Agreement is first approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the City Attorney. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Award of Invitation to Bid No. 18-04-01 and Authorization of City Manager. The <br /> City Commission hereby awards ITB No.18-04-01 to and authorizes the City Manager to negotiate <br /> and enter into an agreement with All Webbs Enterprises, Inc. to provide maintenance, <br /> rehabilitation and testing services for the North Bay Road Improvements project, provided said <br /> Agreement is first approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the City Attorney. The City <br /> Manager has the authority to spend an amount not to exceed Six Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand <br /> Nine Hundred Dollars ($694,900.00) for the project. <br /> Section 2. Authorization of City Manager and City Attorney. The City Manager and the City <br /> Attorney are hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution, including <br /> but not limited to, negotiating terms and conditions of an agreement provided said agreement is <br /> first approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the City Attorney. <br /> Section 3.
