The area is <br />primarily residential that was developed in the 1950’s. The existing infrastructure was longer <br />suitable to meet the current standards for water and sanitary sewer facilities. The Project was <br />completed under budget and on time. The North County Neighborhood Improvement Project <br />(NCNIP) Northeast Quadrant, Bid Package 11 included approximately 357 acres of land <br />between Dixie Highway and Federal Highway, north of Sample Road in Broward County. The <br />project included over 50,688 linear feet of <br />new roadway construction, sidewalks, <br />driveway aprons, and sodded swales In <br />addition the project included over 14,777 <br />linear feet of new storm sewer, 12,993 <br />linear feet of exfiltration trench, 64,000 <br />linear feet of water main, 553 Water <br />Services (many of these services were <br />moved from the rear of the lot to the front), <br />49,700 linear feet of reuse water main, <br />796 reclaimed water services, 43,805 <br />linear feet of gravity sewer main, 750 <br />sewer laterals, lift station, and 1,630 linear <br />feet of force main. CTA provided surveying, <br />civil engineering, landscape architecture <br />and CEI services on the project. <br />J | Page 3
