CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR
Golden Shores Utility Undergrounding and Roadway Improvements
E–7IWOP41002.18w_Sunny Isles Beach Golden Shores Undergrounding.indd
Master Planning for the Village-Wide Undergrounding of
Utilities, Key Biscayne
Miami Beach Streetcar, Miami-Dade County
Okeechobee Road from 87 Avenue to 79 Avenue, Miami-Dade
County
PD&E and Transit Services for SR 7 from Sample Road to
Glades Road, Palm Beach County
D4 DW Traffic Operations, Broward County
Coral Way Resurfacing, Miami-Dade County
SR 826 from West 136 Avenue to East I-95
Turnpike Spur and HEFT Widening PD&E Study
Ms. Gonzalez has the ability to coordinate communications with
residents, create direct mail updates, manage media relations, serve as a public spokesperson for the project team,
organize public education, information activities and meetings, as well as coordinate all website, social media and public
relations needs.
Additionally, to help the community get a better feel and understanding of what one of the more common pieces of
infrastructure will look like, we have fabricated a faux transformer. The faux transformer below can be used during public
involvement meetings, resident coordination meetings, and can even be easily transported to a resident’s or business
owner’s property to help the resident/business owner visualize what the transformer will actually look like in their own front
yard. Although this is a useful tool in helping residents visualize the equipment necessary to make this project happen,
there are other pieces of equipment that may be used as part of the design, some larger and some smaller. Part of the
MRG’s roles will be to educate the residents on these and other misconceptions.
In addition to Kimley-Horn’s in-house staff, we have complemented our team with a number of local specialty firms from a
variety of disciplines to serve the City on this project. These subconsultants are shown on our project organization chart in
section E, which graphically describes how our overall team is organized. A description of each of our subconsultants and
their specific roles can be found above. The aerial on the following page demonstrates team member interaction.
