BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost)

Kimley-Horn provided design and permitting services for replacement of a 1,700-foot-long section of ocean front seawall at the north
end of the island. The wall was originally constructed in the 1950s and had reached the end of its useful life. The design consists of
a sheetpile and tie-back system installed immediately landward of the existing wall. A beach access tunnel owned by the Palm
Beach Country Club exists within the project limits. Close coordination with the Palm Beach Country Club, the Beach Club, and a
private residence to the north was performed during the design phase to ensure that all stakeholder concerns were properly
addressed. The project required both CCCL and ERP permits from FDEP. The project will eliminate over 50 small stormwater
outfalls that discharge directly to the beach, allowing the Town to achieve a significant portion of the goals outlined in the Beach
Management Agreement in place with the state.

25.
