In our capacity for providing engineering services to many local agencies in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, our experience and familiarity with regulatory agencies plays a major role during the project approach, design, and permitting phases to allow for a more well-coordinated and smoother permitting process. CGA has been responsible for ensuring that all codes are met and addressed prior to permit submittal, which leads to a reduction of agency comments and limits any project schedule interruption. We have been a part of countless projects and continuous communication efforts with regulatory agencies for all aspects of design. Our familiarity with permitting related to infrastructure projects, specifically in Miami-Dade County, can be demonstrated by listing the applicable regulatory agencies and pertinent codes/criteria which are anticipated to be encountered during the permitting phase of services. • City of Sunny Isles Beach Building Department - Dry Run during design • Florida Department of Transportation – If R/W permit is needed near Collins Ave. • South Florida Water Management District – Dewatering Permit and Environmental Resource Permits • Army Corps of Engineers – Environmental Resource Permit (not anticipated unless work in the intracoastal is needed) • Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (not anticipated unless work near the intracoastal is required) • Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) PERFORMANCE RECORDS/EFFECTIVE EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AND TRAININGCGA has an exemplary record of performance with each of its contracts.
