RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - 2510 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN INCREASE <br /> IN THE REGISTRATION FEE FOR SHORT-TERM RENTAL OF <br /> SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> ATTORNEY AND THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br /> NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THIS <br /> RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, Section 217-9 of the City Code provides the City Commission the <br /> authority to increase the registration fee for short-term rental of single family dwelling; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has the authority to review all fees to determine if an ' <br /> adjustment should be recommended to the City Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on a review of the fee, the City Manager is recommending an <br /> adjustment from $25.00 to $100.00 for the registration fee. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br /> THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Approval of the Increase in Registration Fee. The City Commission hereby approves <br /> the recommendation to increase the registration fee for short-term rental of single family dwelling. <br /> Section 2. Authorization of City Manager and City Attorney. The City Manager and City <br /> Attorney are authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. <br /> Section 3.
