City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Qualifications No. 18-11-01 18 Isles Beach Codes, Resolutions and Ordinances and State of Florida Building Codes and for incorporating data into complete construction documents including final construction plans (working drawings), technical specifications, construction estimates, and related bid documents necessary for the bidding and construction of the projects. The selected firm will be responsible for obtaining all Federal, State and local permits and/or approvals from Miami-Dade Water and Sewer, DERM, Environmental, Miami-Dade Public Works, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as necessary and all City of City of Sunny Isles Beach Building permits necessary for the construction of the projects. Firms may also be required to provide review and consultant services to the City on various matters, which may not result in drawings, specifications or construction documents. Firms may also be required to coordinate and attend project progress meetings with City staff. Respondent must have completed the design and permitting of at least two (2) pump station projects in the past ten (10) years with one of the projects being in the last five (5) years. Consultants responding to this RFQ, including all key personnel to be assigned to this project, shall be regularly and continuously engaged in the business of conducting pump station condition assessments, performing pump performance evaluations/testing, and designing stormwater pump stations - including all associated and necessary disciplines and services. The selected Consultant understands and acknowledges that the Scope of Services outlined in this Solicitation does not include in its entirety every detail and work required to be performed by the Consultant to successfully complete this Project. The City and the selected Consultant shall negotiate and agree on the basic services, deliverables, timelines and compensation for completion of the Work or any phase included therein. 3.3 CITY ENGINEER All communications and correspondence shall be directed to the City Engineer/ City Project Manager upon award. 3.4 DESIGNATED PERSONNEL The Applicant Firm shall designate the personnel according to the organization chart submitted along with proposal, indicating who will be assigned specifically to the performance of this work. At the time of negotiation for entry into a formal contract, the City shall have the right to specify those key project personnel for whom the successful firm assigns to the project. Firm shall not be allowed to substitute other personnel without prior written permission of the City Manager. END OF SECTION
