City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Qualifications No. 18-11-01 18 <br />Isles Beach Codes, Resolutions and Ordinances and State of Florida Building Codes and for <br />incorporating data into complete construction documents including final construction plans <br />(working drawings), technical specifications, construction estimates, and related bid documents <br />necessary for the bidding and construction of the projects. <br />The selected firm will be responsible for obtaining all Federal, State and local permits and/or <br />approvals from Miami-Dade Water and Sewer, DERM, Environmental, Miami-Dade Public Works, <br />the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as necessary and all City of City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach Building permits necessary for the construction of the projects. Firms may also be required <br />to provide review and consultant services to the City on various matters, which may not result in <br />drawings, specifications or construction documents. Firms may also be required to coordinate and <br />attend project progress meetings with City staff. <br />Respondent must have completed the design and permitting of at least two (2) pump station <br />projects in the past ten (10) years with one of the projects being in the last five (5) years. <br />Consultants responding to this RFQ, including all key personnel to be assigned to this project, shall <br />be regularly and continuously engaged in the business of conducting pump station condition <br />assessments, performing pump performance evaluations/testing, and designing stormwater pump <br />stations - including all associated and necessary disciplines and services. <br />The selected Consultant understands and acknowledges that the Scope of Services outlined in this <br />Solicitation does not include in its entirety every detail and work required to be performed by the <br />Consultant to successfully complete this Project. The City and the selected Consultant shall <br />negotiate and agree on the basic services, deliverables, timelines and compensation for completion <br />of the Work or any phase included therein. <br />3.3 CITY ENGINEER <br />All communications and correspondence shall be directed to the City Engineer/ City Project <br />Manager upon award. <br />3.4 DESIGNATED PERSONNEL <br />The Applicant Firm shall designate the personnel according to the organization chart submitted <br />along with proposal, indicating who will be assigned specifically to the performance of this work. <br />At the time of negotiation for entry into a formal contract, the City shall have the right to specify <br />those key project personnel for whom the successful firm assigns to the project. Firm shall not be <br />allowed to substitute other personnel without prior written permission of the City Manager. <br />END OF SECTION
