City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Proposals No. 18‐11‐02 18   <br />  <br /> Section 3 <br />Scope of Services / Technical Specifications <br />  <br />3.0 BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach (the “City”) is requesting proposals for relocation and refurbishing <br />of the City’s bus shelters along Collins Avenue. Scope of Work will include removal and <br />refurbishing of existing shelters, construction of new slab foundations, resetting shelters, <br />modifying paver sidewalks, relocation of bus benches and trash receptacles and restoration of <br />original sites from qualified and licensed contractors (the “Contractor”). <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br /> Awarded Contractor will perform services which may include, but not limited to the <br /> following tasks identified below: <br /> Remove bus shelters, clean and repaint with gloss black, anti-rust paint <br />Remove and relocate garbage cans and benches in close proximity to bus stop <br />Remove pavers, shrubs, modify irrigation and uplighting <br />Form and pour a 21’ x 5’ pad per detail, coordinate with City on locations <br />Form and pour a 45’ x 5’ pad per detail, (Heritage Park, 3 Shelters combined) <br />Reinstall shelters per anchoring detail <br />Reinstall garbage cans <br />Install pavers over slab, pavers supplied by City <br />Adjust Bus stop sign locations as needed <br />Benches and Garbage cans to be anchored same as existing <br />Restoration of all disturbed areas as a result of the bus shelter removal <br />LOCATIONS (WITHIN CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH BOUNDARIES) BASE BID <br />1 - 159th Collins Ave at Marina del Mar <br />2 - 172nd Collins - Town Center Park <br />3 ‐  17534 Collins Ave ‐ Walgreens
