Russo, City Manager <br /> FROM: Mauricio Betancur, CMC, City Clerk <br /> DATE: 11/15/2018 <br /> Resolution Accepting the Unofficial Results of the <br /> RE: General Election Held on November 6, 2018. Declaring <br /> Mayor and Commissioner Seat 4. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Adopt the attached. Resolution accepting the unofficial results of the <br /> General Election held on November 6, 2018. <br /> REASONS: <br /> A General Election was held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 for <br /> Residential Area Commissioner Seat 2. This Resolution accepts the <br /> unofficial results of the General Election, declaring David Y. Grossman <br /> and Alex Lama as the two (2)candidates who received the most votes. <br /> This Resolution also declares George "Bud" Scholl as Mayor and <br /> Jeniffer Viscarra as Commissioner for Seat 4. Both qualified for office, <br /> ran unopposed, and are, therefore, automatically elected to office. <br /> The City Clerk will administer the oath to the newly elected officials, and <br /> they shall enter upon the discharge of their duties, effective thirty (30) <br /> days after the General Election, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at noon: <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> A Runoff Election will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 for <br /> Commission Seat 2. <br />
