F. Each licensee shall, on the request of any person holding a building moving permit issued by the <br /> City, temporarily remove, raise or lower its wires to permit the moving of buildings. The expense of <br /> such temporary removal or raising or lowering of wires shall be paid by the person requesting same, <br /> given not less than seven days' advance notice to arrange for such temporary wire changes, or such <br /> longer period as may be necessary, but in no event gr-ater than 20 days. <br /> G. When placed underground, all service lines, drops, or laterals that connect the end user customer <br /> to the licensee's distribution system shall be buried as follows: on easements and public rights of <br /> way at the depth as established by the Public Works Manual or Regulations; and on private property <br /> at a sufficient depth so that no portion of the line is exposed. The Director may impose a specific <br /> depth requirement for such lines on private property. <br /> H. Except for relocation expenses when authorized by state or federal law, the license holder shall <br /> relocate its property, lines and cable from such public property or public rights of way in the event <br /> the City determines that a necessity exists for such removal or relocation. <br /> § 129-39. - Work in public rights of way and easements. Reserved. <br /> A. A licensee must obtain any required permits before performing any work that disturbs or impacts <br /> emergency work is completed. Licensee must restore the public rights of way to their former <br /> condition in a manner approved by the City. If such restoration is not satisfactorily performed <br /> within a r-asonable time, the City, after prior notice to the licensee, may cause the repairs to be <br /> fails to perform such repairs. <br /> B. All personnel-utilized by the licensee in the construetie:-ef-the licesee's system shall possess <br /> telephone number. <br /> C. The licensee shall join and maintain a continuous membership in a utility notification one call <br /> system and use its services prior to construction. <br /> D. Only licensed, certified or registered contractors duly authorized to perform such work in the <br /> City may be utilized for construction. <br /> E. In connection with the permitting process, licensee shall furnish the Director of Public Works <br /> and the City Manager with construction plans and maps showing the routing of construction at least <br /> /15 days before beginning new construction that involves an alteration to the surface or subsurface of <br /> the public right of way unless a permit is granted sooner.
