A&P CONSULTING TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERS, CORP. <br />GOLDEN SHORES PUMP STATION REHABILITATION (CCNA) <br />RFQ 18-11-01 <br />24 <br />APCTE IS NOT A CERTIFIED MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE, BUT ALL OF OUR SUBS ARE CERTIFIED SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISES WITH MIAMI DADE COUNTY. <br />The implementation of the Pump Station Rehabilitation Project requires a Project Manager (PM) with proven sanitary sewer system design experience who will deliver this contract on schedule. The Project Manager of our Team will be Mr. Arnelio Alfonso, P.E., who has over 33 years of experience in design of sanitary sewer pump stations and pipelines and has been the Engineer of Record and Project Manager for several sanitary Lift Stations, most of them for the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department. As Project Manager, Mr. Alfonso will be responsible for the technical design elements of this project as well as the required coordination of the different disciplines to ensure the timely completion of the project within the proposed schedule. Mr Alfonso’s availability is high for this contract and he will be the single point of contact between APCTE, its sub-consultants, and the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Mr. Alfonso will be supported by top notch professionals who will be responsible for their areas of expertise. One of our design leaders is Mr. Lazaro Ferrero, P.E., a Senior Project Engineer who has over 33 years of experience performing work for Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department. In addition, we have assembled a team tailored to meet each aspect of this contract. In assembling the staff, we not only looked at the special technical capabilities of the individuals, but also the current and projected workload and availability of each team member. For more information about the organization of our team and the experience of the key team members, see proposal organizational chart and attached resumes. <br />KNOWLEDGE AND PAST EXPERIENCE OF SIMILAR TYPE OF PROJECTSThe APCTE Team has extensive experience in the design of pumps stations and sanitary sewer conveyance systems. Detailed information about the scope of the most relevant projects completed by our team is included on Section F - Firm Reference and Similar Work Completed of this proposal. Shown below is a summary of the most relevant pump station design projects completed by APCTE as prime consultant and designed and managed by Mr. Alfonso, all of which have been let for construction.• Convention Center Drive Pump Station: includes the design of a 80,000 G.P.M. Stormwater Pump Station. As part of this drainage improvement project, a 96” trunk line was also constructed in this initial phase. The pipe was designed as a collector pipe to receive flows from Collins Avenue and the surrounding streets; this will completed in the near future in the final phase.• Design and rehabilitation of Pump Stations PS 437 and PS 351 for Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department• Crespi Avenue Pump Station: includes a 24,000 G.P.M. stormwater pump station• MIC Pump Station (WASD PS #101): includes 1,020 G.P.M. pumps, 1,580 lf of 12” DIP gravity sewer and 1,400 lf of 12” force main.• Perrine Basin A Pump Station (WASD PS #1142): rated for 793 G.P.M. pumps and includes 6,500 lf of gravity sewer and 3,900 lf of 12” force main.• Perrine Basin B Pump Station (WASD PS #1143): rated for 806 G.P.M. pumps and includes 7,300 lf gravity sewer and 2,500 lf of 12” force main.• Miami Gardens Drive (WASD PS #1320) – rated for 120 G.P.M. pumps and includes 1,400 lf of gravity sewer and 250 lf of force main.• Miami Gardens Drive (CNMB PS #31) – rated for 120 G.P.M. pumps and includes 2,100 lf of gravity sewer and 650 lf of 8” force main.•
