BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary <br />to upgrade Sewage Pump Station No. 0351, including, but not limited to, <br />providing uninterrupted by-pass pumping capabilities for the existing pump <br />station flow during all construction times and until the proposed improvements <br />for the pump station are completely operational and accepted by the Owner; <br />demolition of existing force mains; demolition of the existing pump station <br />including, but not limited to the following: refurbishing the existing wet well top <br />slab, surrounding fence, instrumentation and control panels, pumps, piping, <br />valves, fittings, hardware, appurtenances, conduits, and all other items deemed <br />necessary to be removed for the successful installation of the new pump station <br />equipment; site preparation of project area as necessary; furnish and install new <br />gravity and force mains along with associated connections; furnish and install <br />new dual 7.5 HP submersible pumps and all associated piping, fittings, <br />equipment, hardware, and appurtenances for new discharge and emergency <br />connection; connection to existing 8-inch force main; furnish and install new <br />control panel, meter can, main disconnect, motor connection box, new electrical <br />service, power and control conduits and wiring, and the required concrete slabs <br />and mounting structures; install the RTU enclosure (provided by the <br />Department) and the SCADA antenna; connection of new electrical service to <br />the pump station; site restoration; installing new chain link fence and gate; start <br />up and testing of pump station; and other appurtenant and miscellaneous items <br />and work for a complete, satisfactory and functional installation. Complete installation of 2700 LF of 8” F.M. along NW <br />39 Ave from 175th St to NW 181st St, including the connection to the existing manhole on NW 181st St as indicated in <br />plans. <br />25.
