A&P was incorporated in the State of Florida in January 1995 as an “S” Corporation FEID # 65-0770583); it started as a three-employee company to provide plans production services to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) eight offices. Currently we are multi-disciplinary, consulting engineering firm with our headquarters located in the City of Doral. A&P specializes in roadway design, traffic and transportation engineering, water resources and wastewater disposal, civil site planning and design, electrical and mechanical engineering design for commercial and industrial projects, structural design, ITS design, construction management, and construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services. Today we have ninety-five (98) employees of which sixty-four (64) are graduate civil engineers. Thirty (30) of our engineers are registered in the State of Florida. The primary markets that our firm serves are governmental agencies in South Florida (Palm Beach, Broward, Miami and Monroe Counties). Our staff has a combined one-hundred (100) years of experience working as employees of FDOT. Three of our engineers started working in FDOT in the Professional Engineers Training Program, then worked as Project Engineers, Project managers, and later on transitioned to the consultant world. Currently we have open contracts with District IV and VI offices of FDOT, Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works, Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, and as sub-consultants with several other prominent engineering firms. We have also been recently selected by the City of Doral, City of Miami Beach, and the City of Miami to provide services to their Capital Improvements Program. The Traffic Engineering Department at A&P Engineers is committed to improve and ensure the safety of our roads and pedestrian paths. Our senior staff brings over 25 years of experience to ensure the success of your next transportation safety project. We collaborate with government agencies to develop municipal, county, district, and state-wide projects and programs. Our department has been involved in over ten district-wide contracts and has conducted more than 80 studies and evaluations.
