Russo, City Manager 1 <br /> FROM: Bill Evans, Assistant City Manager 4 R 2 5 2013 <br /> DATE: April 25, 2013 • CItYof Sunny Isles Beach <br /> office of the City Manager <br /> RE: Cool-Breeze Air Conditioning Corp <br /> The City is in need of a new air condition compressor at the Government Center. <br /> Immediate action is required to decrease the load on the one working compressor and <br /> to stabilize the temperature throughout the building. <br /> The City Commission may authorize the waiver of competitive bidding procedures upon <br /> the recommendation of the City Manager that it is in the City's best interest to do so. <br /> Staff has obtained three quotes and has chosen Cool-Breeze Air Conditioning Corp. to <br /> replace the McQuary Screw Compressor unit.
