Russo, City Manager <br /> DATE: 5/16/2013 <br /> RE: A Resolution Approving theThird Amendment to Agreement <br /> with BHA, Inc. for Professional Services for the Newport Pier <br /> Project <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> We recommend the City Commission approve the attached Resolution. <br /> REASONS: <br /> Previously the City Commission voted and approved a modification to the <br /> construction contract to include both City and private partner requested <br /> modifications made after construction began. The increase in time in the <br /> construction contract directly impacted the professional services being performed <br /> to manage this contract by also extending their duration. <br /> Previously the City contracted directly with Beiswenger, Hoch & Associates, Inc. <br /> (BHA) to act as the engineer of record for the duration of the project.
