Q1. What is the allocated budget for this project?
A1. The target budget for all elements in both phases of the project is not to exceed
$100,000.
Q2. Is there an anticipated timeline for completion for the project? Such as the project needs
to be completed in full within 90 days or 120 days?
A2. Both phases of the project should be completed in less than two years, with
approximately one year allocated for the completion of each phase of the project.
Q3. What municipal brands do you admire and why?
A3. None at this time, this should be discovered during the research phase of this project
through various interviews with key stakeholders.
Q4. What non-municipal brands do you admire and why?
A4. None at this time, this should be discovered during the research phase of this project
through various interviews with key stakeholders.
Q5. Can you describe the type of engagement that you’d like residents to do more of? Some
examples might include attend events, volunteer, or simply become more aware of issues
and opportunities.
A5. The City hopes to see residents being more involved and aware of the issues. This can
be measured by the number of residents attending/viewing commission meetings, town hall
meetings, and special City presentations. Involvement would be measured as questions
being asked by residents through the City’s website, social media, and by phone.
Involvement is also measured by attendance at events, program participation, and
engagement on social media. In addition, we hope to have increased city pride among
residents as measured by the number of Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID cards issued,
number of people buying city-branded merchandise, and residents representing Sunny Isles
Beach as their home instead of Miami.
Q6. Will the already branded entities listed (SIBshuttle, SIBAlert etc.) need to be rebranded
as well?
A6. Some of the current branded entities will remain unchanged while some will evolve
based on the proposer’s plan and others may be removed entirely.
