A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE FOR CITY COMMISSION
MEETINGS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2020; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission for the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to establish
a schedule of City Commission meetings for calendar year 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,THAT:
Section 1. Approval of 2020 Schedule of Commission Meetings. The schedule for City
Commission meetings for calendar year 2020 shall be as set forth herein.
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in January: January 16, 2020
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in February: February 20, 2020
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in March: March 19, 2020
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in April: April 16, 2020
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in May: May 21, 2020
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in June: June 18, 2020
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in July: July 16, 2020
No Meetings in August
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in September: September 17, 2020
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in October: October 15, 2020
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in November: November 19, 2020
6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in December: December 17, 2020
Section 2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.

RECOMMENDATION: '
It is recommended that the CityCommissio
n adopt the attached
Resolution.establishing'a'schedule for City Commission meetings for
calendar year 2020.
REASONS:
The City Commission desires to establish a regular schedule of City
Commission meetings for calendar year. 2020. Consistent with the
requirements of City Code Section 74-6, all of the monthly meetings
have been scheduled for the third Thursday of each month beginning at
6:30 p.m.
